•Analgesics•

It doesn't treat the cause of pain , but just to relieve pain without causing numbness or affecting consciousness.(painkiller)

 

^_^ not suitable for pregnant mothers and children who have flu and chicken pox

^_^ it is best taken after food . one must drink plenty of water as it is an acid that may cause internal bleeding and ulceration . 

Uses : 

To treat fever , relief pain such as headache , toothache & arthritic pain . 

To reduce inflammation

To reduce the ability of blood to clot . 

♥ Paracetamol ♥ 

^_^ can be given to children as it does not irritate the stomach or cause internal bleeding.

Uses : 

To relief mild ta moderate pain such as headache , muscle and joint pains, period pain and fever .

 ♥ Codeine ♥

^_^ it may cause drowsiness after taken 

^_^ can be extracted from opium or synthesized from morphine .

It is stronger analgesic used used in headache tablets and cough medicine . 

• Antibiotics •

To treat infections caused by bacteria but not to cure infections caused by virus .

♥ Penicillin  ♥

^_^ extracted from fungus Penicillium  notatum 

Uses : 

To cure tuberculosis (TB) , pneumonia , gonorrhea , syphilis , meningitis , and middle ear infections .

 ♥ Streptomycin  ♥

 ^_^ produced by soil bacteria of the streptomyces griseous

Uses : 

To cure tuberculosis (TB) , whooping cough and pneumonia. 

•Psychotherapeutic Medicines•

To alter abnormal thinking , feelings or behaviors . like me

~Stimulant~

^_^ example ~ caffeine 

Uses :

To increase or maintain alertness of the central nervous system . 

To counteract fatigue and elevate mood .

~Antidepressant~

^_^ examples ~ barbiturates , tranquillisers

Uses : 

To treat depression .

Tranquillisers are used to calm down a person, reduce tension , anxiety and fear. 

Barbiturates are used to make people sedate, relax and even sleepy when higher doses are applied . 

Therefore it is used in sleeping pills to cure people who suffer insomnia . 

~Anti psychotic~
